A Trump adviser has shared, Former President Donald Trump and former first lady Melania Trump had received the Covid-19 vaccine at the White House in January. The person didn’t state exactly which vaccine was received by the couple and how many doses. But the couple got vaccinated in the hiding 2 months back whereas Trump kept dismissing the virus on twitter and other public and media platforms.
Contrary to him, other former leaders Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton volunteered in December to receive the Covid-19 vaccines on camera to promote public confidence in the vaccine’s safety. They also asked the public to be aware of the repercussions of the virus and follow official protocols.
The fact got revealed on Sunday when the former President addressed his followers at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Florida. He asked them to get vaccinated and said, “How unpainful that vaccine shot is, so everybody go get your shot.”
People were shocked to hear the ‘encouraging words’ relating to the vaccine from the former leader as he was hell bent on proving Covid 19 is nothing but just a flu so dismissed all the eschewed practices like social distancing and mask wearing and made his followers feel the virus situation isn’t grave enough.
In reality, on the advice of the medical team at the White House, Trump got vaccinated mid-December with a corona virus vaccine recommended by the White House doctors. The White house official also shared that Trump and his wife were both reaping the benefits of the monoclonal antibody cocktail they were given during their recovery from Covid-19 earlier in the fall.
